Commercial Lead
We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Lead to oversee contracts, bids, and client commercial relationships across a portfolio of defence and government programmes. This pivotal role ensures that projects are commercially sound, compliant, and strategically aligned with business growth.
Key responsibilities:
Lead commercial negotiations with clients, partners, and suppliers.
Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with MOD, public sector, and company standards.
Oversee bids, proposals, and pricing models, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Provide commercial governance across multiple projects, tracking risks, liabilities, and obligations.
Work alongside project and procurement leads to ensure coherent delivery and contractual compliance.
Manage client commercial relationships, supporting business development and growth strategies.
Develop and implement commercial frameworks, policies, and processes.
Provide commercial input to board-level decision-making.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in commercial management within Defence, Aerospace, or Government.
Strong track record in contract negotiation, drafting, and risk management.
Familiarity with public sector procurement, MOD standards, and CCS frameworks.
Financial and business acumen, with experience developing pricing strategies and commercial models.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
Eligible for UK security clearance (SC/DV).
