Role Overview
You will act as the operational backbone across multiple programmes, supporting project managers, technical teams, and leadership with coordination, reporting, and governance. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, control, and maintaining delivery discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day project activities across multiple workstreams
Maintain project plans, trackers, and delivery schedules
Support the creation and management of Statements of Work (SoWs), milestones, and deliverables
Track progress against milestones and escalate risks, issues, and delays
Produce weekly reports, status updates, and governance packs
Manage documentation, ensuring consistency, version control, and accessibility
Support onboarding of staff and subcontractors, including access, documentation, and compliance checks
Assist with financial tracking, invoicing inputs, and purchase order processes
Coordinate meetings, actions, and decision tracking across stakeholders
Maintain risk, issue, and dependency logs
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in a project coordination, PMO, operations, or administrative role
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and controlled way
Familiarity with project delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Competence with tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project tracking tools (Planner, Jira, or similar)
Desirable
Experience working in defence, government, or regulated environments
Understanding of structured delivery models (SoW-based delivery, subcontracting, governance processes)
Exposure to financial tracking, invoicing, or commercial processes
Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
