Selective encryption and FIDO2-seeded assurance for critical edge communications in defence and infrastructure.
SHACE (Secure High-Assurance Crypto Endpoint) is a deployable edge cryptographic gateway designed to protect tactical and strategic data paths.
Running on hardened Raspberry Pi hardware with Windows IoT and .NET 9 services, SHACE enforces packet-level policies for selective encryption, PQC readiness, and FIDO2 key seeding.
It operates in both edge-to-edge and in-chain configurations, forming trusted paths between command infrastructure and operational devices.
SHACE integrates seamlessly with AIC’s messaging architecture — bridging Azure Service Bus and AWS SNS/SQS across clean and dirty clouds.
This makes SHACE ideal for defence, aviation, and CNI deployments requiring authenticated, policy-driven cryptographic routing between domains.
