The UK’s first commercial flight trials of quantum navigation point to resilient PNT for contested environments.
UK‑led teams have conducted first‑of‑kind quantum navigation flight trials, reported by GPS World and others. Quantum inertial navigation (Q‑INS) and jam‑resistant PNT promise assured timing and navigation when GNSS is degraded or denied.
Implication: architect sensor fusion that can hot‑swap between GNSS, Q‑INS, and classical IMUs—exposed via MOSA interfaces for air, land, and maritime platforms.
