Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Financial year ending: 31 October 2025
Status: Approved by the Board of Directors on 27 September 2025

1. Introduction & Purpose

AIC Professional Services UK Ltd (“AIC”, “we”, “our”) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms in our business operations and supply chains. This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken (and plan to take) to ensure modern slavery is not taking place in our business or supply chains.

2. Our Business & Supply Chains

AIC provides mission-grade services in aerospace, intelligence, cyber, software development, private security and investigations (SIC: 62012, 62020, 80100, 80300). Our operations are primarily UK-based with relationships with global suppliers for software, cloud hosting, professional services, hardware, and logistics.

Our supply chain categories include:

  • Cloud & hosting providers

  • Software vendors and SaaS suppliers

  • Hardware manufacturers and distributors

  • Consultancy and subcontractors (including individuals and small SMEs)

  • Facilities, logistics and travel providers

3. Our Policies & Governance

We maintain a suite of policies that underpin this statement:

  • Modern Slavery & Anti-Human Trafficking Policy (operational) — published and enforced across the company.

  • Code of Conduct & Supplier Code of Conduct — requiring lawful, ethical operations.

  • Whistleblowing & Reporting Procedure — secure channels for workers, suppliers, and third parties to report concerns.

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy — risk-based checks on customers and suppliers to detect illicit finance which can correlate with exploitation.

The Board approves these policies and senior leadership (Director) is accountable for implementation.

4. Due Diligence & Risk Assessment

We take a risk-based approach:

  • All high-value or high-risk suppliers (hardware manufacturers, overseas logistics, security contractors) are subject to enhanced due diligence, including confirmation of labour practices, certifications, and country risk checks.

  • New supplier onboarding includes contractual clauses prohibiting modern slavery and requiring compliance with applicable labour laws.

  • We maintain a Supplier Due Diligence Questionnaire (see annex) which includes targeted questions on labour standards, subcontracting practices, and worker protections.

5. Training & Awareness

We provide mandatory training for:

  • Senior staff and procurement personnel on modern slavery indicators and supplier due diligence.

  • HR and operational managers on recruitment, worker rights and detecting signs of exploitation.

  • All employees via annual awareness modules and targeted briefings for front-line staff.

6. Reporting, Monitoring & Remediation

  • We operate a confidential whistleblowing channel (privacy@aicuk.ltd / contact@aicuk.ltd) and will take all allegations seriously, investigating and escalating to the Board where warranted.

  • If we identify labour exploitation, we will act to: (a) secure the safety and welfare of any victims; (b) remediate (including contractual action, termination, or remediation plans with suppliers); and (c) notify appropriate authorities where required.

  • We will keep records of all due diligence reviews, actions taken, and incidents.

7. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

To measure effectiveness we track:

  • Percentage of procurement spend covered by supplier due diligence.

  • Number of staff trained (by role) on modern slavery issues.

  • Number of supplier assessments completed and remediation actions taken.

  • Number of whistleblowing reports received and time to resolution.

8. Next Steps (12 months)

  • Extend supplier due diligence to 90% of strategic suppliers.

  • Deliver enhanced training for procurement and security teams.

  • Conduct a third-party audit programme for two high-risk supplier categories.

  • Integrate modern slavery checks into vendor contracts and our supplier portal.

9. Approval

This statement is approved and signed on behalf of the Board.
